The Diocese of Paterson requires two consecutive years of in-person religious formation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. In our parish, those two years are typically 1st and 2nd grade, but the program is open to any students who have not recieved First Penance and First Communion. If your child has attended religious formation classes at another parish as a part of Sacramental preparation, we will need a statement from them to verify this. 

The First Communion program requires class attendance at all scheduled sessions, weekly Mass attendance and participation in special events.  There will be a First Penance and Communion retreat in early spring.  First Communion will be May 4, 2025.
